I grew up in Aden, Kentucky — right at the mouth of Taylor Holler, where the hills fold in tight and the creeks run cold and clear. From the time I could hold a rod, I was fishing every creek between there, to the banks of Grayson Lake and Lake Cumberland. Learning the water the way most kids learn a backyard.

Sundays were sacred. Every week on the boat with my grandparents, lines in the water, not a care in the world. Those days shaped everything — how I think about fishing, what gear actually matters, and why this store exists.
